Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator (Intermediate)

Our continued success allows us to look for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to join our team based on the Isle of Wight. As such, you may be working at both consultant and clients’ premises, from home and in the office. We are often necessarily in our client’s workplace and on site during the construction phase, liaising with fellow consultants, co-workers, clients, and project stakeholders and helping to implement resilient and sustainable developments.
The role will be responsible for:

Analysing, developing, and supporting the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Supporting planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting of project performance & project safety.

Supporting the identification of risk managing or monitoring mitigating actions.
Key experiences we are looking for include:

Cost control, cost planning and change management

An understanding of standard construction contracts
-
Knowledge of stakeholder engagement

Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Be aware and be developing project management skills/construction industry specific knowledge
Security clearance will be essential, as will a full, clean driving licence and the ability to work freely in a variety of industrial/commercial and construction and external environments. The working week is Monday to Thursday with a half day on Fridays.
